A static QR code is just your text turned into squares. Nobody has to keep a server running for it, so it works for as long as the paper or the screen does. Make as many as you want, with no signup, no watermark and no scan limit.
Free covers web links, Wi-Fi logins, contact cards, email drafts and plain text. You can pick the colours, round the dots and put a logo in the middle, then download a PNG for screens or an SVG for print. If you later want to edit a code or count scans, that is the paid dynamic kind.
How to do it
- Choose what the code holds: link, Wi-Fi, contact, email or text.
- Fill in the form and set colours or a logo.
- Download the PNG or SVG.
Questions
Is anything uploaded?
No. The code is drawn in your browser. We never see the address, password or contact details you type.
Why do some free tools expire?
Those are dynamic codes in disguise: the code points at the service's server, and the service turns it off when the trial ends. Static codes cannot be turned off.
